Behind the Scenes

Play Reviews

"...sharp and funny. Gunderson taps into a buoyant spirit...the touching 'barbaric yawp' (Whitman's phrase) of these two deeply engaging kids." - The Washington Post
"The striking twists and turns along the progression of the rapid-paced work are astonishing, breath-taking, and mind-blowing." - DC Metro Theater Arts
"Unforgettable. The end will leave you gasping." -Washington Speaks

Production Reviews

“'I and You' spends 85 minutes building into a beautiful little story that explodes into a beautiful big story with a powerful conclusion almost no one in the audience will see coming."
- Burlington Free Press
"Vermont Stage’s 'I and You' proves delightfully entertaining and richly rewarding." - The Times Argus
"The play has a surprise ending so startling that it nearly overpowers the story that precedes it. Gimmick or not, it's memorable, but only because the two characters have been developed so clearly in this polished production."
- Seven Days
