Jeff Modereger (Scenic Designer)
As Professor Emeritus at University of Vermont, Jeff taught scenery design and scene painting. Retiring from teaching after 27 years in the Department of Theatre he served as the chair for eleven years. His professional life spans 40 plus years and nearly 450 productions with credits ranging from national and international tours, regional theatres, opera and dance companies, off-Broadway, Broadway, Industrials, television and the silver screen. Jeff is represented by the National Holocaust Museum’s exhibit of Remember the Children: Daniel’s Story. As an original member of Vermont Stage, Jeff’s work includes: The Glass Menagerie, Streetcar Named Desire, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, My Ohio, Doubt, Amadeus, The Tempest with the Tyco Drummers, The Last Station, I Am My Own Wife, Sylvia, The Clean House, 4000 Miles, Good People, Doublewide, Mothers and Sons, I and You, The Quarry, Other Desert Cities, Souvenir, A Doll’s House, Part 2, The Legend of Georgia McBride, and the list goes on and on and on and on.
