At its heart, 'Women in Jeopardy!' is comedy gold. It borrows little bits from everything that's come before it, but the result is refreshing and original, and somehow, the laughter comes easy.

Outdoor Gathering FAQs

What should I bring with me?
The show will be outside in a mowed field, so you should plan to bring:
  • a lowback folding chair (here's an example of one)
  • sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat, if it is sunny
  • water
  • bug spray
  • a blanket, in case it is windy or chilly
  • a rain jacket or poncho, in case it sprinkles
What happens if it rains?
If the performance you're scheduled to attend gets cancelled due to rain, then we will contact you via email so you can select a different date to attend the show at no additional cost.

There will be 12 performances and we will be reserving at least 25 seats at each show for people that are rescheduling due to inclement weather.  So, there should be ample room to move into a different performance during the course of the run.
Are you offering any refund options due to weather?
No refunds will be provided for inclement weather.
How many people will be at each performance?
We plan to sell a maximum of 130 tickets per performance.  Including staff, volunteers, and artists, there will be no more than 150 total people on site at each performance.
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes!  If you would like to bring a picnic, please adhere to the following rules:
  • Any food or drinks should be consumed in your seating area only. Please no walking around eating or drinking.
  • All trash must be taken with you.
  • Please no glass or breakable containers.
  • Alcoholic beverages may be consumed, but Vermont State laws regarding consumption must be adhered to at all times.
It can be noisy outside. Will I be able to hear the play?
We plan on having an excellent outdoor sound system and all of the actors will be wearing microphones. However, we will not be able to offer a T-Loop or assistive listening option.
Will there be any shady areas to sit?
Unfortunately, there will not be any shade. If it is sunny, please plan to bring appropriate attire, sunscreen, and water to keep yourself safe. If you would like to bring an umbrella to create your own shade, please plan to sit in the back of the seating area so you don't block anyone's view.
What are your Covid-safety plan?
To keep our audience safe, we will do the following:
  • All artists, staff, and volunteers will be fully vaccinated.
  • The stage will be 6 ft from front row seating.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at major entry points.
  • Paper free show programs will be provided.
  • No food or drinks will be served.
