Accessibility
Below are Vermont Stage's accessibility services. If you have any questions about our services, please call us at 802-862-1497 or email us at vtstage@vermontstage.org.
Vermont Stage is equipped with both FM wireless headset receivers and an induction loop hearing system. The loop system broadcasts clear, customizable, sound directly into hearing aids that are fitted with a Tele-Coil switch. This is the preferred choice among Assistive Listening Devices for many people with hearing loss. If you don’t know if your hearing aids have a Tele-Coil (70% do), ask your audiologist. If your hearing aids have a Tele-Coil switch, simply turn the switch on and sound is streamed directly to your hearing aids. If your hearing aids don’t have a Tele-Coil switch, wireless headset receivers are available free of charge at the Box Office.
If you need reserved front row seating to a Vermont Stage performance, please email vtstage@vermontstage.org or call 802-862-1497. We will be happy to reserve you seats.
All performances have accessible and companion seating available upon request. Please request when ordering tickets via phone at 802-862-1497, in person at the Vermont Stage admin office, or via email at vtstage@vermontstage.org.
An elevator is available for access to the Main Street Landing Black box Theater. Just enter the building through the 60 Lake Street Entrance (Near the Skinny Pancake) and take the elevator to the third floor. There is also a street level entrance directly into the theatre on Battery Street.
An accessible restroom is located on same level as the theater. Ask one of our Ushers or onsite staff for directions if you are uncertain where it is located. Public multi-stall bathrooms are available on the second floor.
Ticket Accessibility Program
In an effort to make our work more accessible to all, we have changed our subscriptions and single ticket sales to a "Pick Your Price" model. Now, you can purchase subscriptions or single tickets with three different price options available. We've also eliminated transaction fees so it costs the same no matter whether you purchase tickets in person or online. Visit our subscribe page to learn more about how it all works.
Please note, AARP members can purchase single tickets and save 10% with the code provided to you by your member account manager.
