Tender and poetic, Furlough’s Paradise follows two cousins who grew up as close as sisters, bound by family, memory, and the dreams they once shared. When they reunite during a brief furlough from prison, their time together opens up the question of where their lives began to split and how two people who came from the same world could end up on such different paths. Intimate, lyrical, and full of heart, this moving play explores family, freedom, and the longing to imagine a future beyond the circumstances that shaped you.
