Vermont Stage’s The Bake Off is a lively theatrical experiment where three playwrights each create a brand-new short play inspired by the same beloved classic. With three directors and three casts, each play takes the source material in a completely different direction, offering a playful and fascinating look at how stories transform through different voices, styles, and imaginations. Fast, inventive, and full of creative surprises, The Bake Off is an end-of-season favorite and a celebration of theatrical possibility.
The play that will serve as inspiration for this year’s Bake Off will be announced Spring 2027.
