Shaina Kaye

Shaina Kaye is a Hospital and Community Services Specialist at the Center for Donation and Transplant (CDT), a non-profit organ procurement organization serving 43 hospitals in upstate New York and Western Vermont. CDT helps facilitate organ and tissue donation, ensures that the option of donation is offered to families in an informative and compassionate manner, and provides long-term support and comfort to families and hospital personnel involved in the donation process. At CDT, Shaina helps oversee community outreach efforts, coordinates public education programs and manages the volunteer program to help educate communities about organ and tissue donation and increase the number of registered donors in New York and Vermont. She received her BS in Integrated Marketing Communication from Ithaca College in 2011 and will receive her Masters in Public Health from the University at Albany, SUNY in May 2016.
