Jon van Luling

Jon van Luling
Jon is ecstatic to make his return to Vermont stage as Roger in "The Play That Goes Wrong".  Jon is a transplant from the Boston area with over 15 years experience in Performance, Improv, and Stage Combat, from Chicago to various states in the Northeast. You may have last seen him as Daedalus in “Beasts of Crete” (Between the Willows) or as Facebender in “Airness” (Vermont Stage). He also directed the first third of "The BAKE OFF: Frankie and Johnny In The Clair de Lune" (Vermont Stage) He uses his very little free time to improvise stories and characters with his daughter Morgan, and direct the students at Milton High School. Jon would like to thank his ever-patient, and supportive partner Kyr, his creative and brilliant daughter, and his family and friends for donating him to Vermont Stage for one of his dream roles. He would also like to thank the talented and rugged cast and crew for being game to slip on the banana peel and keep going, and to Candy, for trusting us to make magic. Thank you also to Cristina and Jamien for keeping a space open for creative freedom in an ever shrinking world.
