John Hughes

John Hughes has been Vermont Stage's Stage Manager since the 2022-2023 season. He is a Vermonter, UVM alum (Class of 2015), worked the 2014-2017 seasons of summer stock theater at Saint Michael's Playhouse as a scenic artist, and can often be found working with the stagehand union at the Flynn theater in Burlington. He started with Vermont Stage as an assistant stage manager for our production of “I and You” back in 2016. After our return in 2021, he was the season assistant stage manager and has worked every Vermont Stage production since.
