Jessie Owens
Jessie Owens is a performing artist, choreographer, and certified massage therapist. She is the creator and director of ERGO movement, a performance project based in Burlington, VT, where she fosters collaborative relationships with other artists and performers. From 2002 to 2012, she performed with Spielpalast Cabaret and was the group’s art director and co-producer from 2005 until 2013. Jessie holds a B.A. in dance from Smith College, and is the current Vice President of the Vermont Dance Alliance, where she works to make dance more accessible and available, and supports dance in all of its forms.
