Delanté Keys
Delanté Keys (they/he) is an award-winning performer, director, and theatre artist. They received
their BFA in Acting from Arcadia University and spent their formative artistic years working as a teaching artist and actor in Philadelphia. They are thrilled to be working with Vermont Stage again after directing the world premiere of Breakfalls by Gina Stevensen. His most recent artistic home was Austin, TX. Delanté has been fortunate enough to perform in and/or direct over 35 regional productions. Directing credits include White (Permanent Record Theatre), HIR (Capital T Theatre); Kid Simple: a live concert of sounds! (artMEAT), Trust Me, Love, RapUnzel, and SaulPaul’s Alien Adventure (Austin Scottish Rite Theater).They are a three-time B. Iden Payne Award recipient for their performances in The Brothers Size, RapUnzel, and Some Humans Were Harmed in the Making of This Show. He also received the Austin Critics Table’s John Bustin Award for Conspicuous Versatility (2018-2019). |
