Dana Steinhoff

Dana Steinhoff
Dana grew up in Vermont theater, spending her summers rehearsing with the Stowe Theater Guild and performing as orphan Kate in Lyric’s Annie - the penultimate highlight of her child acting career. Since then, she left the green mountains to study acting under some amazing teachers and directors at Bard College, including originating the role of Ado Annie in Daniel Fish’s Oklahoma! production that ended up on Broadway last year. Her twenties were spent making theater that was a little bit weirder as she cofounded and was the Managing Director of the Exquisite Corpse Company, an immersive theater company in Brooklyn, New York. A change in career brought Dana back to the homeland and eager to get involved again. Acting with Vermont Stage has been a goal ever since Dana saw Our Town performed some 20 years ago. She is thrilled to be rejoining the Vermont theater community and to be making her debut with Vermont Stage!
