Abby Paige

Abby Paige headshot
Abby is thrilled to make her Vermont Stage debut with Women in Jeopardy!  Born and raised in South Burlington, she recently returned to Vermont after more than a decade in Canada. Her solo shows are Les filles du QUOI?, which premiered earlier this summer at Lost Nation Theater, and Piecework: When We Were French, which premiered at the 2009 Champlain Quadricentennial Festival in Burlington and toured widely thereafter. Both shows explore the influence of French-Canadian culture in New England and how we use stories to make meaning. Abby was a founding member of the San Francisco comedy collective Killing My Lobster, where she created many memorable characters as a featured writer and performer. Other favorite roles have included Grace and Alice in Judevine at Lost Nation Theater and the pirate Mary Read in Theatre New Brunswick’s production of Heroine.
