Chris Caswell
Chris is a theater-maker and theater-lover most recently seen as Helen Hubbard in Vermont Stage's “Murder on the Orient Express.” In 2025, Chris premiered her clown show Self-Esteem for Dummies, co-created with Gina Stevensen and Aly Perry, played Edith Wharton in “Wharton Between the Sheets” with Middlebury Acting Company, and directed Pamela Formica’s “Paws” and “Dr. Doug” at Off Center for the Dramatic Arts, where she serves as president of the board. She is a regular goofball in the sketch comedy troupe Stealing From Work. Other Vermont Stage productions include “Annapurna,” “The Thin Place,” “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime,” “Doublewide,” “Or,”, “Time Stands Still,” “As You Like It,” “Oliver Twist,” “Shipwrecked,” and “Well.” Chris is so honored to work with Alex, Laura, and this amazing team of artists to conjure these two foremothers of modern science.
