Candy Padula

This is Candy’s first show as prop master for Vermont Stage. Last season, Candy directed Vermont Stage’s production of “The Play That Goes Wrong.” Her collection of vintage luggage made it a natural fit for her to take on props for “Murder on the Orient Express.” Candy actually began her career in the entertainment industry, working in the prop department for the TV show “The Wonder Years.” Since then, she has worked as a director, choreographer and theatre teacher for over 30 years in Vermont. Candy was the founder and artistic director of Theatre Factory Inc. She was an adjunct professor and director of the theatre department at Trinity College of Vermont, where she taught acting and technical theatre. Candy has been the director of the theatre department at Mount Mansfield Union High School for the past 25 years. She has also directed at both Essex and Champlain Valley Union High Schools.
