Bethany Bohall

Bethany Bohall is a writer, director, and former Equity actor. Writing under the pen name of Ann Barrett, her recent publications include Soliloquist Journal, Progenitor Art & Literary Journal, and Rio Grande Review. Her play Our Girl was presented as part of NYC’s 2025 EstroGenius Festival. She studies fiction/playwriting in the MFA Program at New England College. As an actor, she recently performed in Amateurs with the St. Johnsbury Players and is a recipient of the South Florida Theater Critics’ Carbonell Award for Best Actress. Directing credits include Vermont Playwrights’ TenFest 2025 and 100A Theatre in San Antonio. Originally from upstate New York, Bethany is a new Vermonter living in the hills of Central Vermont with her husband Lloyd and their ragtag pack of rescue dogs.
