Anne Barrett
Anne Barrett is an award-winning artist, cartoonist, and animator based in Vermont. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and achieved Distinction in Studio Art at Carleton College in Minnesota. Awards for her animated films include Vermont’s Bessie Award for best short film, “Soul Flight,” and the New England Animation Festival’s Wally Award for technical excellence for “Tightrope.” Other artistic enterprises include televised cartoon-storytelling performances at the Knitting Factory in New York as part of “Women in Limbo,” creating and dancing with masks, website design, and commercial animation. www.anne-barrett.com
