Aleah Papes is an actor, audio journalist, and fact-checker. Recent stage credits include the ensemble of Sweeney Todd (Vermont Rep), Bridget in Translations (Vermont Stage), and Maria in The Sound of Music in Concert at the Trapp Family Lodge (Vermont Symphony Orchestra/Lyric Theatre Company). Her voice can also be heard on Vermont Public, where she is an announcer, and in the alto section of the VSO Chorus. She has a B.A. in theater from Northwestern and an M.A. in journalism from N.Y.U.
