Virtual Time Capsule
This historic event is unparalleled in human history and is impacting nearly every life around the globe. When we look back on the time of the CoVid-19 Pandemic, the great writers of our era will describe this period as only great writers can, perfectly capturing the hardship and joy of the moment.
Individually, those who lived through it will remember where they were and what they did. We will have stories to share and lessons learned that will become lore among our descendants. In this way, we are all destined to be vital storytellers.
And we want to hear these stories.
Vermont Stage wants to capture your stories in a virtual time capsule. We want to preserve your stories so that we may one day share them with each other in remembrance of our collective experience and to create something beautiful together.
Thank you, in advance, for sharing your story. It is a profoundly generous gift.
How to share your story
Please email your story to Artistic Director, Cristina Alicea, at [email protected].
You can share your story in any form you like: written, video, audio, photography, poetry, visual art, dance, song… whatever means through which you feel most comfortable expressing yourself.
What can my story be about?
Stories can be about your experience during the pandemic, can be inspired by the pandemic, or can be about someone else’s journey. Your story need not be long. It can be any length you wish as long as you feel it captures the essence of your experience. It can be dramatic or comical, or both! It is your story, so it really can be whatever you want it to be.
