Kelsey Vivian (Stage Manager)
Originally from Rhode Island, Kelsey is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont’s English & Theatre programs with a focus in Stage Management. Kelsey was resident Stage Manager for Vermont Stage during their 2016-2017 Season, which was composed of six productions including AMERICAN HERO (dir. Cristina Alicea), WINTER TALES, NATIVE GARDENS ( dir. John Nagle), BLACKBERRY WINTER (dir. Jordan Gullikson), THE CALL (dir. Cristina Alicea), and THE BAKE OFF of BAREFOOT IN THE PARK (various dirs.). While earning her B.A, Kelsey stage managed THE 39 STEPS (dir. Cristina Alicea), HALF-CRACKED AND ALL IN WHITE (dir. Julia Zephir), THE TOYS TAKE OVER CHRISTMAS (dir. Catherine Crumbley), and THE REACTIVATED MAN (dir. Bret Pellegrino), assistant stage managed MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (dir. Mark Alan Gordon), appeared as herself in A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING (dir. Craig Wells), directed THE LOVE TALKER (2016) and house managed eight other productions. Kelsey was also a stage management intern for Saint Michael’s Playhouse for the 2014 & 2015 summer seasons and most recently stage managed Vermont Shakespeare Festival’s JULIUS CAESAR (dir. Jena Necrason). Kelsey also freelances as props designer and a writer.
